Here are five quick meal ideas to cook on your grill.

  1. BBQ Sausage sliders

  • Need sweet Italian sausages

  • Boil them

  • Butterfly them

  • Start them on the grill casing-side-down

    • Flip and slather in your favorite BBQ sauce

    • Flip them again and sauce the open-face

  • Toast some small slider rolls

  • (Optional) Top with chopped onions and some bread and butter pickle slices to get that “McRib” flavor.

2. Grilled quesadilla

  • Grill over low heat

  • Throw a tortilla on the grill and apply shredded cheese

  • (Optional) Add some grilled chicken and bbq sauce or your favorite hot sauce.

  • Fold the tortilla in half and press it.

3. BBQ chicken Pizza

  • Season then grill some chicken breasts

  • Cut breasts to small pieces and mix with bbq sauce

  • Unroll your favorite premade, store-bought pizza dough

  • Add your favorite BBQ sauce to the dough

  • Use a box grater to grate up some gouda (not aged or smoked)

  • Add thin slices of shallot or red onions

  • Put the whole thing on the grill.

4. Breakfast burritos

  • Yes! You can cook breakfast on a grill

  • Uneven heat

  • Put a tortilla on the grill

  • Crack an egg into the tortilla or scramble it in a bowl first

  • Close the grill and cook through

  • Add pre-cooked or deli ham to the grill and cook, add cheese atop the eggs

  • Add whatever sauce or extras you want

  • Add ham to the tortilla

  • Roll into a burrito and use the grill to sear and seal the burrito.

5. Grilled Cheese

YES! Grilled Cheese... on a Grill!

  • Soften a tablespoon of butter

  • Low heat

  • Spread softened butter (or whipped butter) to one side of two slices of bread—I’ve also found that “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter” Spray works great for this.

  • Place the first slice buttered-side-down on the grill

  • Add cheese

  • Cover with other slice, buttered-side-up

  • Flip

  • Enjoy
